The present study aims to assess the relationship between intolerance of uncertainty, careeranxiety and spiritual intelligence among master’s students. Past literature has shown evidencethat intolerance of uncertainty as well as career anxiety have considerable links with careeranxiety. The present study focuses on assessing the relationship between these three variablesand additionally, analyzing if one’s self reported level of intolerance of uncertainty andspiritual intelligence predicts their level of career anxiety. For this purpose, 180 students (135female, 43 males), pursuing their master’s degree, were selected through conveniencesampling. The participants completed the Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale (IUS), CareerAnxiety Scale (CAS) and Spiritual Intelligence Self-Report Inventory (SISRI). The data wasanalyzed using correlation and regression analysis. The findings revealed that a significantpositive relationship exists between intolerance of uncertainty and career anxiety. Whereas, therelationship between spiritual intelligence and career anxiety is significantly negative. Nosignificant relationship exists between intolerance of uncertainty and spiritual intelligence.Lastly, intolerance of uncertainty and spiritual intelligence act as predictors of career anxietyamong master’s students. Since the current study has successfully concluded that spiritualintelligence negatively predicts career anxiety, it becomes a prominent skill or coping strategyfor individuals facing career anxiety. Schools and higher educational institutions canimplement programs that help students find meaning and purpose in their daily life and buildvalues that enhance their spiritual intelligence. It is suggested that career anxiety, being acommon experience, requires further exploration.
