Background: Studies repeatedly note gender disparities in health indicators, such as physical ailments, anxiety, and sadness. While the exact cause of this disparity is unknown, stress variations might be a factor. The American Psychological Association claims that because women are better at relating to others, they are more likely to take control of and manage their stress. Objective: This study aims to explore the significant differences in stress management among males and females. Participants and Settings: A total of 80, both male and female respondents were selected through convenience sampling from Amity University, Jaipur Rajasthan. Methods: The “Stress Management Scale” developed by Dr. Vandana Kaushik and Dr. Namrata Singh Charpe was administered to determine the stress management levels of participants. Result: A significant difference was found between the male mean scores and female mean scores. The p-value for the findings was 0.050 which indicate a borderline significant difference among male and females in stress management. Conclusion: These findings contribute to the understanding of gender differences in stress management and highlight the role of stress and stress management in this context.

Abstract

Background: Mindfulness, a practice that binds you with the present and makes you aware of one’s surrounding, is an essential aspect of today’s modernized world. Its prevalent that people today dwell more about the past and anticipate more about future. Mindfulness is a general human ability to be aware of whom we are, where we are, what are we doing and not giving out over reactions or getting way too overwhelmed by whatever is happening in our surrounding. Specifically focusing upon the parents who are so worried about their children’s development, whether it’s academic or at a co-curricular level. Emotional dysregulation includes the one’s difficulty to manage or control one’s emotions and our response or behaviour in response to those emotions. If there is reduced or no mindfulness, there is a
greater probability of emotions getting disbalanced, called as emotional dysregulation. This relation between mindfulness with emotional dysregulation in the parents, irrespective of age, becomes an area of concern. Aim: To study the gender difference in Perinatal Mothers and Fathers on the basis of Mindfulness and Emotional regulation. Objective: To study the gender difference in Perinatal Mothers and Fathers on the basis of Mindfulness and Emotional regulation. Methodology: A total sample of 80 parents, that included 40 couples i.e. 40 perinatal mothers and 40 perinatal fathers, were assessed. Scientific tools such as The Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ)(developed by Ruth Baer in 2006) and The Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS-SF-18) (developed by Victor and Klonsky in 2016 )were used to assess the variables. With the help of the 19th version of SPSS –,

statistical analysis was done and results were interpreted. The current research is a correlational study in which the sampling technique implied was stratified sampling.
Discussion: It was observed that perinatal mothers had a weak negative correlation, which means that there is an inverse relationship between the variables. For their counterpart perinatal fathers, there is a weak positive correlation.

Abstract

Historically, it is very obvious and open in the public domain of each part of the world that transition and transformation in the society comes into existence when a new kind of idea set and promote for the welfare of people. As asserted by Mahayanist, similarly, for the welfare of all sentient beings in general and human beings in particular, the historical aspect of Buddha known by the name of Buddha Sãkyamuni, left the palace and vihãra or walked towards the desolate forest not to get relaxed from the boredom of princely life but to fulfill his aim that is to find a path to happiness for both other and self. In his journey for searching the path, at last, it is stated that he got enlightenment under the banyan tree planted in the vicinity of Mahabodhi Temple of Bodhagayã. According to Mahãyãnist, it is said that out of compassionate mind and the spontaneous mind motivated for helping other, he gave three kinds of utterance in the name of turning of wheel of Dharma. He turned the first wheel of Dharma which is named as the four noble’s truths to a set of five disciples at Sãrnãth, Varanasi. Accordingly, the second was turned at the paramount of Gridakûta Mountain, near Rãjgir and the third wheel was turned in Vaishali and other uncertain places as well. But these three kinds of turning of wheel of Dharma directly and indirectly convey that the Bodhichitta (The altruistic mind) is the only compact form of path comprising of both idea and practice which provides benevolent result for all sentient beings. As it is stated by the Buddha in his text named as Gur: There is no sentient beings and Buddha Without this precious mind. Thus, Bodhichitta is the quintessential spiritual practice of Mahãyãna Buddhism.

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to investigate and assess the many ways in which pregnancy affects a young woman’s psychological and emotional well-being. Being pregnant is a life-altering, multifaceted experience that may profoundly affect one’s mental health and sense of emotional stability. Given the particular difficulties and vulnerabilities young women may encounter, there has been a rising interest in recent years in learning how pregnancy impacts their mental health. This research includes a literature analysis based on case studies, including those on postpartum depression, maternal nervousness, perinatal depression, post- traumatic stress disorder, and hypertension. In addition, this study looks at how social networks, medical interventions, and cultural factors all play a part in determining the mental
health of young mothers. The mother is a 25-year-old, has low income and a poor level of education for the mother and joblessness inadequate social support. The research also examines the interplay between the stigma and cultural assumptions that are often linked in mental health during pregnancy. This study concludes by stressing the need of understanding the wide range of emotions that young pregnant women may feel. Healthcare practitioners, legislators, and social networks can all do their part to deliver more holistic and effective treatment for this group if they have a better grasp on the complex relationships between being pregnant, mental health, or emotional wellness.
